The Council for Higher Education Internal Audit (CHEIA) is delighted to invite you to our Spring Networking event, taking place on Tuesday 25th March.
Following the success of our in-person event last April, we are pleased to announce another opportunity for IA colleagues to get together and discuss the latest developments in the Higher Education sector.
The event will open with a talk from our keynote speaker, Paul Greatrix, who will present on the main challenges currently facing the HE sector and discuss how internal audit staff can support their institutions in addressing these, drawing on his 35 years working in Higher Education, including 18 years as Registrar at the University of Nottingham. The programme will also include sessions on Artificial Intelligence, helping you get the best out of AI and empowering you to use it in your current role, and how to successfully navigate ethical dilemmas.
The day will also provide plenty of opportunity for group discussion, networking and catching up with colleagues, old and new. We know from your feedback how important it is for our members to have the opportunity to meet and socialise in person, and we recognise the power of collaboration and the benefits of being able to discuss issues with peers, hear how others are solving current problems and build contacts in the sector.
This event will take place at Forvis Mazars, 30 Old Bailey, City of London, London, EC4M 7AU.
Tickets for this one-day event are available for just £30 plus VAT per delegate. Spaces are limited so make your booking early to guarantee your place.
Please note that our preferred method of payment is by card, due to the cost of processing invoices. Please pay by card rather than invoice if you can.
If you are unable to pay by credit card, please proceed with the booking and at the final stage of booking there will be an additional option to ‘pay by invoice’ as well as the option to proceed to payment online. Please then enter a purchase order number and your institutional address for the invoice. Purchase orders should be made out to 'Professional HE Services Limited.' Our accounts team will be notified of your invoice request and will supply you with an invoice to pay. If you do not provide an official PO number we will not be able to process and confirm your booking. All invoices must be paid in full before you can attend the event.
If you have any questions about the event or would like any further information, please contact Claire Farrell. A full programme for the event will be released shortly.
Please refer to our event terms and conditions when booking this event.
