Paul Greatrix shared a presentation on the main challenges currently facing the HE sector and discussed how Internal Audit staff can support their institutions in addressing these, drawing on his 35 years working in Higher Education, including 18 years as Registrar at the University of Nottingham.
Peter Sheppard, Director of Digital Assurance at TIAA Ltd, led a session on the uses of Artificial Intelligence for internal audit, discussing how to get the best out of AI and how to use it in your current role.

Katie Archer, Associate Director of Forensics and Investigation at Forvis Mazars, presented on the impact of the new ‘failure to prevent fraud’ offence and what this means for Higher Education Institutions.
Delegates were presented with a set of ethical dilemmas for discussion.
